Absolutely not! PulseLogs contains multiple individual roles that you specify so clients and respective staff members only see what you want them to see. All sensitive information remains safe and confidential as per HIPAA requirements. (See other question below on what individual roles see.)
Our tools, processes and databases are fully HIPAA compliant. In addition, our servers are monitored 24/7. However the client needs to make sure they are in full HIPAA compliance as well with their office protocols and processes in order to protect patient data.
Yes! Both patients and administrative staff can upload documents to PulseLogs. Patients can scan and upload paper documents and attach to forms as well as send directly to practitioners through the tool. Practitioners can also upload and attach documents to their patient’s calendar appointments, forms, chat, and patient clipboard records, as well as send attachments to their patients or other staff members.

PulseLogs is able to be connected to each client’s billing system. Invoices are automatically generated when appointments are set on the calendar and clients are notified of payments through the billing system following each appointment.

PulseLogs is a full-service HIPAA compliant software tool which we created to best serve the needs of our clients and their patients. PulseLogs includes countless features. However, in the event you require any additional features that are not currently a part of the tool, we will be happy to enhance the tool for a statement of work. We understand that your business requires flexibility and we are here for you!
PulseLogs comes pre-packaged with your wants and needs from the beginning so you don’t have to worry about hidden fees. However, there will be additional costs in the event of change requests pertaining to new features that are not already a part of the tool.

PulseLogs contracts are entered into on an annual basis. You can decide to cancel after a year’s service by giving 30 days notice before the annual contract renews.
The current roles we offer in PulseLogs for clients are patients or students (In case some are needing access to exclusive training videos, etc.). These roles can only access their user registration and forms they have filled out, as well as send and receive documents to and from their practitioners.
Practitioner roles (Counselors, Doctors or Nurses), provide access to a calendar where they can schedule patients, an Archive that houses client & practitioner forms, Patient Clipboards and Notes of individual patients’ complete file, and a Chat feature that enables messaging and sending attachments between any individual staff members or groups. Individual counselors or doctors see notifications of their patients’ activity (accounts and forms created in their name, change of information, etc.).
Operational staff have the role of admin or intern with the same access as counselors or doctors, with the addition of CallLogs to track all phone communications with patients, editing billing invoices, monitoring support tickets, and accessing Marketing Reports. Operational staff have access to notifications of all client activity.
CxO’s have access to everything counselors/doctors and staff members see with the addition of Dashboards that overview how the company is doing. These dashboards contain billing and user stats and may be personalized with predictive analytics for marketing.
CxO’s also have access to notifications of all client’s activity across the company.
This depends on each client’s requirements and office procedures. If a client desires for patients to schedule appointments then that feature is tuned on.
